Ungrouped roles

Ungrouped roles facilitate rapid creation of roles with minimal information. This is useful for organisations that do not require the ability to group their demand, as demand is now dealt with on a per job basis.

A role associated with a job but not assigned to a scenario is an ungrouped role. Ungrouped roles are maintained just like scenarios. The only difference is that you enter a job and leave the scenario field blank when creating or editing these roles.

Ungrouped roles allow the following users to easily create a role, and a booking request from a role:

• users who don't have access to the jobs management page
• users who don't have permission to create scenarios
• users who don't know which scenario is relevant to their role or request
• users who want to create a standalone role
