Resources
Understand resources
Resources represent your people. The individuals whose time is being planned in Retain Cloud.
The term Resource can be customised (requires Admin permissions) so that you can use a term suitable for your organisation e.g. Consultant, Fee earner or Person.
For the purpose of this guide, the term Resource has been used throughout.

Sort jobs within a resource
Note
In the Resource View, jobs are the child columns.
Child columns can be sorted independently from the parent columns.
Note
- Only one child column and one parent column can be used for sorting
- Clicking another child column removes the sort applied to the previous child column
- Changing the sort order on the parent does not affect the sort order of the child and vice-versa
- By default, sort is applied on the name in the ascending order

- Click the highlighted arrow to sort the jobs within a resource
- Toggle between ascending and descending states by clicking the highlighted arrow
